A pressure reducer for automatic control of the pressure of a gaseous fluid has a control device for putting it into its service condition. The device is constituted by a loading lever (42) rotatable about its axis, which extends from the outside into the pressure chamber (26) of the expansion membrane (28) and carries a cam (48) co-operating with the pivoted control lever (32) of the membrane (28) upon rotation of the loading lever (42) to cause the rotation of the control lever (32).
