PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the infiltration state of a treatment liquid in an ink reception layer.SOLUTION: Provided is a recording device where a recording medium having an ink reception layer for receiving ink is imparted with a color ink including color material and a colorless ink being substantially colorless based on image data, including: an acquisition means where, per unit region of the recording medium, information regarding the imparting amount of the color ink to the unit region is acquired; a decision means where, based on the information acquired by the acquisition means, the amount of the colorless ink imparting per the unit region of the recording medium by the recording means is decided; and a covering layer formation means where a treatment liquid having permeability to the ink reception layer is imparted to the recording medium, for forming a covering layer covering the color ink and the colorless ink imparted to the recording medium. |
