<p>[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a curtain airbag such that the injury value to an occupant can be reduced without obstructing the inflation and deployment of a cushion section. [Solution] This curtain airbag (100) is stored above a side-surface section of a vehicle cabin and is inflated and deployed along the side-surface section, said curtain airbag being equipped with: a bag-like cushion section (106) that has a chamber (130) that is inflated and deployed by means of a gas and an upper edge part (136) which is positioned at the upper side of the vehicle when the airbag is inflated and deployed; and a protective fabric (132) separate from the cushion section and positioned on the vehicle interior-side of the chamber when inflated and deployed, the upper end part (134) of the protective fabric being joined to the upper edge part of the cushion section or the vicinity thereof. The protective fabric is folded together with the cushion section while disposed along the vehicle interior-side surface of the cushion section.</p> |
