<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of columns and a member for column connection enabling appropriate reinforcement according to a connection position of the column when the sizes of upper and lower columns are different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: A rib 25b has the almost same size as a column 5c to be connected. The rib 25b is provided eccentrically in one direction to a body 23. A side of the rib 25b on the opposite side of an eccentric direction is formed at a fixed height, two sides on both sides connected to the side are formed such that the height is gradually lowered in the eccentric direction, and the height of the side on the eccentric direction side is 0 for the rib. That is, the rib 25b is formed on the eccentric direction side and an U shape is formed.
