An ultrasound diagnostic device includes: an ultrasonic probe; a transmitting and receiving unit generating received signals corresponding to a scanned area; a B-mode data generator generating three-dimensional B-mode data based on the received signals; a gain adjusting unit executing a gain adjustment of the three-dimensional B-mode data using a gain adjustment value determined for the depth of each scan line in the scanned area, for the azimuth of the scanned area, and for the elevation of the scanned area; a threshold value determining unit determining a threshold value for performing a lumen/non-lumen split in the scanned area using the three-dimensional B-mode data on which gain adjustment has been performed; a threshold value processor executing threshold value processing to divide the non-lumen data from the three-dimensional B-mode data on which gain adjustment has been performed using the determined threshold value; and an image generator generating a lumen-related ultrasonic image based on the three-dimensional B-mode data on which threshold value processing has been performed. |
