The invention relates to a device for inspecting a wall to locate a defect in a surface in the wall , comprising
a housing provided with a drive and means for propelling over the surface, control means for controlling the drive and first measuring means for measuring the thickness of the wall, characterized in that, the device further comprises camera means for imaging part of the surface, wherein a defect is present, and second measuring means for determining the remaining thickness of the wall at the location of the defect.
