The present invention relates to a multipurpose ecological beam comprising: a structure which is installed on a river bed in a width direction; variable blocks which are arranged on the top of the structure in at least two rows and allow multiple unit blocks to be installed thereon to be separated from each other at uniform intervals; and a transfer unit which separately reciprocates the variable blocks in the width direction of the river bed. Therefore, the present invention controls the flow of water using the mutual operation of the unit blocks installed in each row.
