The present invention provides a bidirectional time delay integration (TDI) line image sensor. According to the present invention, the bidirectional TDI line image sensor is characterized by comprising: a pixel unit which has N line sensors having M charge coupled devices (CCD) arranged in a line, being horizontally arranged in a scanning direction, horizontally moving a charge accumulated in each column of the line sensors, and accumulating the charge; and an output unit to receive the charge, which is accumulated in the first line sensor and the last line sensor of the pixel unit, selectively in parallel in each column, storing the charge after performing analog-to-digital (AD) conversion, and then sequentially outputting the charge. |
