<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant coating device for a welding wire which can coat a welding torch wire with an appropriate amount of a solid or solid-liquid-mixed lubricant, and can supply an appropriate amount of the lubricant to a coating unit as needed in a tightly-sealed state without exposing to outside air.SOLUTION: A lubricant coating device coats an outer surface of a wire supplied to a welding torch with a lubricant. The lubricant coating device includes: a coating unit which coats the outer surface of the wire with the lubricant; a supply tank for a lubricant; and a lubricant supply pipe which supplies the lubricant to the coating unit from the supply tank for the lubricant. The lubricant supply pipe is formed by incorporating a supply piston and a flexible rod which is connected to the supply piston and has a rack shape which can reciprocate. A rack pinion drive device is arranged on the supply tank for the lubricant so as to reciprocate the supply piston and the flexible rod.</p> |
