<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device which enables reduction of the number of components and reduction of assembly man-hours in a structure of swingably mounting a shift lever to a base bracket.SOLUTION: Left and right forward/backward rotary shaft parts 5a are integrally and protrusively formed on both side walls of a lever main body part 3b composing a shift lever 3. When the shift lever 3 is assembled to a base bracket 2, the lever main body part 3b of the shift lever 3 is inserted from a lower surface opening of the base bracket 2 while pushing and expanding left and right side wall surfaces 2e, and finally the rotary shaft parts 5a of the shift lever 3 are supported by journal holes 2f formed in the side wall surfaces 2e of the base bracket 2. Consequently, the number of components and assembly man-hours can be reduced in a structure of swingably mounting the shift lever 3 to the base bracket 2.</p> |
