The present invention is to provide a manual pulse generation device, capable of preventing the output of an unnecessary pulse when connected to an upper device in an on state, and a pulse output method for the manual pulse generation device. In the manual pulse generation device (1), a pulse generation output unit (150) comprises: line drivers (157a, 157b) which output a pulse to the upper device (18) through a cable (17); a control signal generation unit (158) which generates a control signal (output paths of an enable signal ENB and disable signal ENB*) for approving communications to the line drivers (157a, 157b); and a delay circuit (159) which delays the time of the control signal to reach a communication approval level. Therefore, even if the manual pulse generation device (1) is connected to the upper device (18), an unnecessary pulse caused by static electricity or the like, is not outputted to the upper device (18). |
