<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation system" which presents detailed information of a desired road section to a user so as to prevent a geometrical area presenting information to the user from being limited by a map as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A navigation device draws a traveling road detailed figure 400 in an image indicating a current position mark 42 representing a current position on a map 41 around the current position (b). The traveling road detailed figure 400 is a graphic representing a road where a vehicle is being traveled in details and has a shape obtained by enlarging a graphic portion representing the road where the current position is located in the map 41 in a road width direction in such a manner that a reduction scale in the road width direction of the traveling road detailed figure 400 becomes a predetermined reduction scale, and is arranged so that a position on the traveling road detailed figure 400 corresponding to each spot is matched with a position on the graphic portion representing the road in the map 41 corresponding to the spot in terms of a traveling direction of the road. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
