The present invention relates to a portable terminal having a touch sensor. The portable terminal includes a display unit and a touch sensor unit located on a side of the display unit. The touch sensor unit includes: a plurality of touch sensors disposed at preset intervals; and a control unit which outputs a driving signal by generating a voltage or current signal at a location where a touch input is generated according to a preset interrupt for the touch input by the touch sensor.
