PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of recovering a refrigerant rapidly into a receiver even when refrigerant leakage occurs during cooling operation or during heating operation.SOLUTION: A refrigerant circuit constituted in such a way that a compressor, outdoor heat exchanger, receiver 18, and indoor heat exchanger are successively connected is changed over by four-way selector valve between a cooling operation state and a heating operation state. When a leakage detection sensor detects leakage of the refrigerant, a control part closes a first outdoor expansion valve 16 arranged between the indoor heat exchanger and the receiver 18 in the case when the refrigerant circuit is in the cooling operation state and performs a refrigerant recovering operation during cooling operation in which a liquid refrigerant is stored in the receiver 18, and closes a second outdoor expansion valve 15 arranged between the outdoor heat exchanger and the receiver 18 in the case when the refrigerant circuit is in the heating operation state and performs refrigerant recovering operation during heating operation in which the liquid refrigerant is stored in the receiver 18. |
