<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method of a resin varnish capable of freely changing coating quantity of the resin varnish according to a portion of a wire, a manufacturing method of an insulated wire having an insulation layer formed by the coating method, a manufacturing method of the insulated wire having the insulation layer with uniform thickness in a desired portion, and the insulated wire manufactured by these manufacturing methods. <P>SOLUTION: A coating method of a wire sprays a resin varnish on the surface of the wire by a high viscosity material spraying device. A manufacturing method of the insulated wire has: a coating process for spraying and coating the insulation varnish on the wire by the high viscosity material spraying device; and a curing process for curing the coated insulation varnish. A manufacturing method of the insulated wire has the insulation varnish coating process, the curing process and a thickness smoothing process for heating the insulation varnish in a short time at relatively low temperature.
