PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device of good usability which allows image formation even in a case where a discrimination means fails in detecting a new article, with inconvenience before a replacement component arrives being settled.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes a fuse 181 which discriminates whether or not it is an unused component, and a photosensitive drum 20 which is configured to be detachable from a device body. Further, the image formation device includes an unused component determination means 60 which determines the fuse 181, and a fuse melting circuit 170 which changes the fuse 181 of the photosensitive drum 20 if the unused component determination means 60 determines that the photosensitive drum 20 is an unused component after the photosensitive drum 20 is attached to the device body. The image formation device, further, includes a use control means 61 which controls so that the photosensitive drum 20 comes to be usable when a predetermined initializing process is applied to the photosensitive drum 20 regardless of change result of the fuse 181 by the fuse melting circuit 170. |
