<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specifying device for vehicle driver and specifying method for vehicle driver, capable of highly precisely specifying a vehicle driver through learning of operation with high convenience involved in specifying a vehicle driver. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle 100 includes a database 150 that registers data showing a characteristic of operation by a driver for each type of running environments where the operation is performed. A forward vehicle identification section 142 constituting an on-vehicle controller 140 identifies a forward vehicle running forward in the traveling direction of the vehicle 100.
