PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle storage device which opens and closes a lid without causing the lid to interfere with an arm rest.SOLUTION: A vehicle storage device includes: a body member 1 having a center storage part 11; a lid 3 which is provided so as to move between a closed position where the lid closes an opening of the center storage part of the body member and an open position where the lid opens the opening of the center storage part; and lid moving means 4 which moves the lid between the closed position and the open position. The lid moving means locates the lid adjacent to an arm rest 2 and positions a design surface of the lid at substantially the same height with a design surface of the arm rest when the lid is at the closed position. Further, the lid moving means moves down the lid to a position lower than the arm rest to move the lid to the side below the arm rest when the lid is at the open position. |
