PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent valve device capable of making a valve opening operation of a valve body fast and realizing a function of the valve body in a superior manner.SOLUTION: A vent valve main body 11 is provided with a funnel-like valve seat 12 having a valve port 20 communicated with an outside area. At a lower part of the vent valve main body 11 is extended a connecting cylindrical part 15 connected to a vent pipe 17 branched from a drain pipe. A valve body 21 made of synthetic rubber is seated on the valve seat 12. In addition, a lid 29 forming a valve chamber is fitted on the valve seat. The valve body 21 is held at its one end between the valve seat 12 and the lid 29 and at the other end is formed with a recess 25 to form an opening or closing part 27 adjacent to the recess 25. Then, when a negative pressure is generated in the valve chamber, the opening or closing part 27 is opened to cause the surrounding air to be flowed in. |
