PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier film having excellent transparency and barrier durability.SOLUTION: There is provided a barrier film which comprises a substrate 11, an inorganic film 13 which is laminated on the substrate 11 and has first and second principal surfaces 13a and 13b and a transparent conductive film 14 laminated on the inorganic film 13, wherein the first principal surface 13a of the inorganic film 13 is formed of an oxide of Si, the second principal surface of the inorganic film 13 is formed of at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of oxides of Al, Zn, Sn and In, and when the refractive index of the first principal surface 13a of the inorganic film 13 is defined as n1, the refractive index of the second principal surface 13b of the inorganic film 13 is defined as n2 and the refractive index of the conductive film 14 is defined as n3, the refractive index of the inorganic film 13 is continuously changed from n1 to n2 (n1<n2) from the first principal surface 13a to the second principal surface 13b of the inorganic film 13 and the difference between n2 and n3 is 0.2 or less. |
