UNCUT DETERMINATION METHOD IN CUTTING WORK AND CUTTING WORK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uncut determination method in cutting work and a cutting work device which can determine the presence/absence of an uncut portion accurately.SOLUTION: An uncut determination method determines the presence/absence of an uncut portion 5c when an object 5 to be cut is cut while a cutting part 3 is moved along a cut surface 5a of the object 5 to be cut. In this method, uncut portion detection means 4 for detecting the uncut portion 5c while moving backward with respect to a movement direction of the cutting part 3 along the cut surface 5a is disposed. This method calculates in advance an uncut portion return time of a reflected wave of a transmission wave which is sent from the uncut portion detection means 4 and reflected by the uncut portion 5c, and determines whether or not the uncut portion exists on the basis of the presence/absence of a signal of the reflected wave which comes back after being reflected in the previously calculated uncut return time.
