<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a high quality read image by correcting with high accuracy an MTF characteristic difference between images imaged by plural line sensors so that a difference in brightness or color taste is not produced later even if predetermined image processing is performed. <P>SOLUTION: MTF correction means 106b comprises: main scanning direction filter means and sub-scanning direction filter means which perform weighted addition to values of plural pixels adjacent in a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction of respective pixels of images read by plural line sensors 141 to 148 with a predetermined filter coefficient to generate main scanning direction filter image data and sub-scanning direction filter image data respectively; and weighted addition means which generates image data obtained by performing weighted addition and MTF correction to image data of each pixel, main scanning direction filter image data and sub-scanning direction filter image data of each pixel at a blend ratio of each pixel determined by the main scanning direction MTF correction parameter and the sub-scanning direction MTF correction parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
