1. A head garment comprising:
a band which is generally circumferential in configuration, said band formed of a piece of material which is folded over on itself along a generally horizontal fold line to define inner and outer layers and top and bottom edges of said band, said generally horizontal fold line being provided at one of said top and bottom edges, said inner and outer layers being affixed to one another along a first sewn seam proximate the other one of said top and bottom edges, said inner and outer layers each having free ends which are affixed to one another along a second sewn seam, said second sewn seam extends from said first sewn seam to said generally horizontal fold line along one of said inner and outer layers, said second sewn seam extends a portion of a distance from said first sewn seam to said generally horizontal fold line along the other one of said inner and outer layers in order to define an opening through the other one of said inner and outer layers proximate to said second sewn seam, said opening providing access to a space defined between said inner and outer layers; and a hair holding component which is secured between said inner and outer layers, said hair holding component being movable between a first, non-usable position where the hair holding component is held within the space defined between the inner and outer layers and a second, usable position where the hair holding component is moved through the opening. |
