PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel (poly)alkylene glycol compound and a polymer of the compound.SOLUTION: There are provided a (poly)alkylene glycol compound represented by the formula (1) having a (poly)alkylene glycol chain and at least one organic residue and a polymer of the compound. (1), where Ris same or different, and an organic residue (II) having a structure derived from aminocarboxylic acid (salt)s, hydroxy tyramine (salt)s, pyrrolidone (salt)s or hydroxyamine (salt)s, H or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, X is same or different and a direct bond, -CHCH(OH)-CH- group, -NH- group or -CO- group, (AO) is an oxyalkylene group, r is same or different and the number of an average addition molar number of the oxyalkylene group of 1 to 1000, y is same or different and an integer of 0 to 2 and z is same or different and 0 or 1. |
