PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a power supply, having an external control function, to perform protection operation that repeats stopping and restarting switching operation.SOLUTION: An auxiliary circuit enabling the power supply to perform the protection operation includes: a pulse generator circuit for alternately outputting a first voltage and a second voltage, which is a voltage value higher than the first voltage, at a content period; an output voltage detector circuit for comparing the output voltage of the power supply with a predetermined threshold voltage, to output the first voltage or the second voltage on the basis of the comparison result; and a logic circuit for performing a logical operation using the output of the pulse generator circuit as a first input signal and the output of the output voltage detector circuit as a second input signal, to generate a control signal to be supplied to the power supply. |
