PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which performs abnormal vibration detection with higher accuracy than that of a conventional one, and which can prevent occurrence of abnormal vibration and erroneous detection of abnormal vibration.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a water tub 3 for including a washing and dewatering tub 4; a motor 9 for rotationally driving the washing and dewatering tub 4; rotational frequency detection means 12 for detecting the rotational frequency of the washing and dewatering tub 4; modulation degree detection means 11 for detecting a modulation degree of the motor 9; and control means 10 for controlling the rotational drive of the motor 9 on the basis of the detection rotational frequency of the rotational frequency detection means 12 and the detection modulation degree of the modulation degree detection means 11. The control means detects a maximum modulation degree of the motor modulation degree in a no-load dewatering state, and according to the detected maximum modulation degree, corrects a motor output maximum modulation degree during a dewatering step. |
