PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique advantageous in improving reliability of a coupling structure employing snap fit engagement for a door lock device for vehicle that has a first housing constituent member and a second housing constituent member of a housing coupled through the snap fit engagement.SOLUTION: A housing 101 of a door lock device for vehicle includes a coupling mechanism 130 for coupling a first housing constituent body 101a and a second housing constituent body 101b with each other, and the coupling mechanism 130 includes an engagement claw 140 which is provided in a projection shape to the first housing constituent body 101a, an engagement arm 150 which is provided to the second housing constituent body 101b and has an opening part 151 capable of engaging the engagement claw 140, and a protection part 160 which is provided to the first housing constituent body 101a while surrounding an arm outer peripheral surface 153 of the engagement arm 150 so as to protect the engagement arm 150.
