<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus exhibiting excellent coloring in which a light group is less likely to occur in an image read. <P>SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus comprises a luminous body, a pair of light guides that receive the light from the luminous body and irradiate a reading surface with light while facing each other with a read line interposed therebetween as a linear light source, and a line sensor which receives the reflection light from the reading surface and processes the reflection light as the image data. Inter-light guide antireflection means attenuates or prevents the light irradiated from one of the pair of light guides, reflected regularly at least on the reading surface and advancing toward the other light guide from being reflected again on the other light guide and returning back to one light guide via the reading surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
