Disclosed is a technique for an apparatus for generating radiation which enables diagnosis and treatment at the same time by generating various types of high energy radiation. The apparatus for generating radiation includes: a radiation generator which generates two or more kinds of radiation based on a radiated laser beam; and a radiation filter unit which filters the two or more kinds of radiation based on an applied electromagnetic field.
