PASSENGER SEAT WITH SYNCHRONISING MECHANISM

FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: seat structure comprises the base to be mounted at the vehicle floor and provided with the axle for seat pad and backrest assembly and the backrest locking mechanism with the torsion spring for return of the backrest to vertical position. One or two synchronising mechanisms are fitted at every seat to time the seat and backrest in the plane of armrests. Every synchronising mechanism comprises two levers, one being articulated with the seat central lower part and another one articulated with the backrest lower end. Opposite ends of the levers are coupled with one hinge fitted at the slide sliding on the guide secured at acute angle to the vehicle floor.EFFECT: simplified design of synchronising mechanism for selection of optimum seat inclination at whatever inclination of backrest.2 dwg
