PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of forming an image having high durability in a short time.SOLUTION: Provided is an inkjet recording method including: a step of applying ink to a recording medium; a step of drying the recording medium to obtain a semi-dry film; a step of applying a liquid composition to the half-dry film; and a step of drying the recording medium. The ink includes: a color material; a water soluble solvent; resin particles and water, the solution composition includes at least one kind of solvent selected from 1,3-butanediol, ethylene glycol ethers having prescribed SP value and vapor pressure at 20°C and diethylene glycol ethers, the content of the solvent in the liquid composition is 30 mass% or higher, the content of the water in the liquid composition is 20 mass% or lower, and, in the step of obtaining the half-dry film, drying is performed till the content of the water included in the half-dry film reaches 10 mass% or lower to 100 mass% of the ink applied to the recording medium. |
