PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn prevention device for furniture which is installed and used indoor, as countermeasure for earthquake of office furniture and shelves.SOLUTION: An overturn prevention device 200 comprises: a support bar 210; holding members 220 attached to furniture and holding the support bar 210 at a standby position; and a regulation member 252 attached to the furniture and engaging with the support bar 210. Following oscillation during earthquake, the support bar 210 is deviated from the holding member 220 and fallen downward and is engaged with the regulation member 252, and thereby the support bar 210 prevents overturn of the furniture. |
