PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device hardly affects the influences of a long-term deterioration upon the control of a webbing tensile force.SOLUTION: A seat belt device comprises: an electric motor capable of generating a drive power; a spool part capable of winding up a webbing 13; a driving power transmission device 24 capable of transmitting the driving force of an electric motor 23 to a spool part 42; and a control part for generating a control signal I2 to control the transmission of the driving power transmission device 24. This driving power transmission device 24 includes: a first permanent magnet part 25 formed at the drive shaft 23a of the electric motor; a second permanent magnet part 27 formed at the spool shaft 22a of the spool part 42; and an electromagnet part 26 capable of jointing the rotation of a first permanent magnet part 25 and the rotation of the second permanent magnet part 27. The electromagnet part 26 generates a magnetic force on the basis of the control signal I2. |
