Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method and communication device. The method comprising: a first communication device receives a first positioning request message, the first positioning request message including an identifier of a communication device to be positioned, and the first positioning request message being used for requesting for the location information of the communication device to be positioned; and according to the identifier of the communication device to be positioned, the first communication device obtains the location information of the communication device to be positioned through short range wireless communication technology. Thereby, the first communication device is capable of obtaining the location information of other communication devices. |
