PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device that starts driving support to avoid a collision between an object and a user's vehicle at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A driving support device acquires a detection result of an object and a white line by a camera sensor (S400, S402) and calculates a white line overlap ratio, which is a ratio of a distance from the right and left white lines to the object with respect to a lateral width of the object (S404).
