PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio clock capable of reliably obtaining data and time while suppressing a reception time.SOLUTION: A radio clock includes: reception means for receiving radio waves of a positioning satellite; decoding means for decoding a satellite signal and obtaining date and time information; first reception setting means for estimating a reception period with a specific code stream showing a specific position in the satellite signal on the basis of clocked date and time and a date and time code stream showing date and time information as a first reception period; and second reception setting means for setting a predetermined period just up to a terminal reception estimation timing of the next specific code stream as a second reception period after the first reception period is completed on the basis of the clocked date and time. The second reception setting means extends the second reception period so as to allow a date and time code stream portion to be received when the specific code stream is detected. The decoding means decodes the date and time code stream with this specific code stream set as a reference when the specific code stream is detected during the second reception period, and when not detected, the specific code stream showing the specific position among the specific code streams not detected during the first reception period is discriminated, and decodes the date and time code stream. |
