PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management device capable of automatically determining whether or not a new device is for replacement with an existing device.SOLUTION: The device management device (gateway device) is provided with: an information storage unit 2 that stores, for each device, device information including on/off information which is either of an on value indicating that power supply of the device is on or an off value indicating that the power supply is off; and an information management unit 3 that determines, when the new device is connected to a gateway device (1), whether or not the new device is connected to be replaced with another device already connected, on the basis of the on/off information of the device information stored in the information storage device 2 and reads-out, when it is determined that the new device is for replacement, at least a part of information other than the on/off information from the device information of the other device in the information storage unit 2 to write the at least a part of information in the device information of the new device. |
