PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring tool capable of reducing a force required for pushing a boring blade in.SOLUTION: A boring tool 100 comprises a boring blade 102 for boring a hole in a wall material W in a predetermined boring trajectory, and a cover body 121 covering the boring blade 102 and having an opening end part 122 at the front end. The boring tool 100 bores a through hole in the wall material W by advancing the boring blade 102 from the opening end part 122 of the cover body 121 in a state of bringing the opening end part 122 of the cover body 121 into contact with the wall material W. The boring tool 100 also comprises a slide body 111 which can slide forward and backward inside the cover body 121 in accordance with the movement of the boring blade 102, and partitions an internal space of the cover body 121 into a first space S1 on the front end side and a second space S2 on the rear end side with predetermined airtightness. On a peripheral wall 121a of the cover body 121, a suction port 124 is formed on the front end side from the slide body 111, and air in the first space S1 can be sucked through the suction port 124. |
