摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a cathode active material is provided to be able to manufacture a LiMnO2 cathode active material with an improved capacitance and an excellent charge/discharge efficiency by precipitating manganese, vanadium or niobium with reduction. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a cathode active material comprises a step of producing manganese complex precipitate by precipitating manganese and hetero metal elements with reduction from a mixed solution including a hetero metal compound containing at least one hetero metal element selected from V and Nb, and a manganese compound; and a step of mixing the manganese complex participate and the lithium compound, and plasticizing the mixture to produce a lithium manganese complex oxide represented by Chemical formula 1: Li_(1+a)(Mn_(1-b)M_b)_(1-a)O_2; wherein a is 0<=a<=1/3, b is 0<=b<=0.5, M is at least one metal element selected from V and Nb.
