PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve smoother start-up on the basis of an operating state of an engine.SOLUTION: An engine control device comprises: operating state detection means 21 for detecting whether the engine is, at start-up, in a state in which the engine is stopped on the basis of ignition operation, or in a state in which the engine is stopped on the basis of an idling stop function; valve control means 22 for controlling open/close timing of an intake valve 6 at start-up on the basis of an operation state of the engine detected by the operating state detection means 21; fuel injection determination means 23 for determining, on the basis of the operating state detected by the operating state detection means 21, a ratio of an injection amount of fuel by a direct injection valve 10 to an injection amount of fuel by a port injection valve 9, and the timing of injection at the start-up; and fuel injection execution means 24 for executing fuel injection on the basis of the ratio and the timing of injection. Also, the engine control device is provided with water temperature detection means 25 for detecting the temperature of cooling water of an engine, and the valve control means 22 controls the open/close timing of the intake valve 6 on the basis of a temperature of water when not in the idling stop state. |
