PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of confirming presence/absence of newly arrived information without visual observation.SOLUTION: The electronic equipment comprises: a housing; a display panel to be attached to the housing; a touch panel to be disposed on a display surface side of the display panel; an oscillation element for generating oscillation to the housing or an operation surface where operation input to the touch panel is performed; an operation determination part for determining a content of the operation input to the touch panel, in a state that the display panel is a non-display state or a sleep mode; a new arrival determination part, when it is determined that predetermined operation input for confirmation of newly arrived information is performed by the operation determination part, determining whether or not there is prescribed newly arrived information; and a drive control part for driving the oscillation element with a predetermined pattern when it is determined that there is the predetermined newly arrived information by the new arrival determination part. |
