The present application relates to a signal detection method and device, which are used for solving a problem of not being able to flexibly switch a detection algorithm according to a detection scenario. The method comprises: judging, by a receiver in a wireless communication system, whether a current network environment satisfies a condition of starting an ML detection algorithm using a pre-set mechanism, and if so, conducting signal detection using the ML detection algorithm; otherwise, conducting signal detection using a linear detection algorithm. In this way, a judgement mechanism for a condition of starting an ML detection algorithm is introduced in a wireless communication system, so that a receiver can flexibly switch between the ML detection algorithm and a linear detection algorithm according to a detection scenario, thus realizing optimal compatibility between satisfying the requirement of detection performance and reducing the complexity of implementation. |
