PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a continuously variable transmission which improves the synchronism of a mesh-type engagement mechanism with a synchronization mechanism, in a continuously variable transmission having the mesh-type engagement mechanism with the synchronization mechanism.SOLUTION: In a continuously variable transmission which comprises a continuously variable transmission mechanism having a pulley, and a mesh-type engagement mechanism with a synchronization mechanism for connecting a torque transmission path which transmits the torque of a drive source to an output shaft, when it is determined that the mesh-type engagement mechanism with the synchronization mechanism should be engaged according to a traveling state of a vehicle, actual belt transmission torque Tis decided from synchronization torque Iin place of inertia torque Iof a drive-side pulley (S108 to S122), and side pressure which should be supplied to first and second pulleys is calculated on the basis of the decided actual belt transmission torque T. |
