<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively prevent abnormality drop of a storage battery voltage and a motor power reception end voltage in an electric propulsion system equipped with a hybrid power supply consisting of a storage battery and a power generator charging the storage battery. <P>SOLUTION: When an input voltage VM of a motor (M) 6 is detected by a detector (DV) 9 and it exceeds a previously set limit start setting voltage VMA, a speed command limit section 13 obtains rotational speed which does not exceed a rotational speed (input current) limit line on the basis of the rotational speed (input current) limit line Y which is previously set, and rotational speed is limited on the basis of the rotational speed to operate the motor (M) 6.
