<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify momentary fuel consumption nearest to an actual value. <P>SOLUTION: A connection cable 22 is connected to an ODB2 terminal of a vehicle, and a control part 18 periodically acquires information for determining the momentary fuel consumption and information on residual fuel from the vehicle. Since resolution of the residual fuel is 0.5 liters, a value of the residual fuel changes every time when consuming 0.5 liters. The control part calculates a travel distance of traveling in a correction object period of consuming 0.5 liters from a history of position information from a GPS receiver 8. An average of the momentary fuel consumption provided in the correction object period is determined, and a correction factor is determined from the ratio of the average and average fuel consumption. After that, the value can be approached to actual fuel consumption by correcting by multiplying the momentary fuel consumption by the correction factor.
