<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission that suppresses vibration and noise. <P>SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission stores a chain (12) hung between an input pulley (10) and an output pulley (11), and includes a guide rail (40) swinging with an axis (50) as a fulcrum to the chain (12) moved by a change of the groove depth.
