PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a bath to be filled with hot water with excellent energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A bath device comprises: a heat medium circulation path through which a heat medium is circulated; a first heat source and a second heat source that can heat the heat medium flowing through the heat medium circulation path; a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between bathwater in a bathtub and the heat medium flowing through the heat medium circulation path; and a controller that can perform first and second hot water filling operations for filling the bathtub with hot water at a set temperature by a set time by controlling at least the operation of the first heat source and the second heat source. The first hot water filling operation allows the operation of the second heat source in all steps for boiling the bathwater, and the second hot water filling operation prohibits the operation of the second heat source in at least some steps for boiling the bathwater. The controller shifts to the first hot water filling operation if predetermined conditions under which it is determined that hot water filling will not be completed by the set time are met when the second hot water filling operation is started or in progress. |
