PURPOSE:To obtain a reflecting mirror having high accuracy in flatness and curvature easily by mating the reflection surface of a thin glass sheet mirror and a surface plate of honeycomb construction having through-holes via an adhesive agent and adhering both to one body by the effect of forced suction. CONSTITUTION:The reflection surface 1a of a thin glass sheet mirror 1 (1.0mm. thickness) and a surface plate P having through-holes Pa of honeycomb cores 2a and a surfacing material 2b are disposed via an adhesive agent 3. The plate P is set in a suction chamber A and is sucked forcibly in the direction of arrows, by which the mirror 1 is adhered to one body. Even when the mirror having minor ruggedness is used, the mirror is tightly adhered to the plate P by the effect of forced suction, whereby the reflecting mirror having high accuracy in flatness is produced. The reflecting mirror having high accuracy in curvature is obtained by using a surface plate of a projecting or recessing surface and adhering the thin mirror 1 to one body by forced suction by the above-mentioned method. |
