<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a three-dimensional image according to the fatigue of a viewer. <P>SOLUTION: A display device which displays for a viewer an image for the right eye and an image for the left eye having parallax is equipped with: a display unit for displaying the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye; a state acquisition unit for acquiring state information indicating the state of the viewer; and an image adjustment unit which adjusts a parallax amount between the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye displayed by the display unit, on the basis of the state information detected by the state acquisition unit. The display device can also be equipped with: a three-dimensional image acquisition unit for acquiring the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye including a plurality of image elements having different parallax amounts; and a shifted image generation unit for generating the image for the right eye and the image for the left eye by shifting the entire two-dimensional image that is input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
