PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a power source and reduce average power consumption by supplying the power source in time division in accordance with function to unit groups that perform functional operations in time division. CONSTITUTION:Inputs IN1, IN2,...INn are given to functional units A1, 12,...1n which are installed in an elctronic controlling device and perform respective functional operations in time division, and expected operation outputs OUT1, OUT2,...OUTn are obtained. Voltage is supplied from a DC power source 2 to power source terminals of each functional unit 11, 12,...1n through controlling switches 31,...3n. On the other hand, a function request signal F is given from a central controlling section 6 to a power source controlling section 4 through a transmitting section 7, and the power source controlling section 4 reads a functional unit for which the functional operation is required. Controlling switches 31...3n of the corresponding functional unit are selected properly from this reading and the application control is performed. By this way, the capacity of DC power source is lowered and the power consumption is reduced. |
